HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

 

PRIOR TO INITIATING A RETURN:  

We suggest to first consult with original product manufacturer for any assistance before requesting a Return of Material Authorization (RMA) through Hearth of Texas Armory. 

Please refer to “Links to Manufacturer” at the bottom of this page. 
Most items can be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery.  

 

RETURN PROCESS

Step 1

Register and Log into your account at HeartofTexasArmory.com. Once you are logged in, click on the "Return Items" link under the "Orders" section.  Specify which items you will be returning and select a "Return Reason" and the "Return Action" that best fits your return.  Describe the reason for your return in the "Comments" section, being as thorough as possible.

Once your request is submitted, a HOTA manager will evaluate your return request and will either approve or deny your return.  If your request is denied, you may contact us (phone, chat or Email) if you are in need of further explanation.  If your Return Request is approved, you may move on to "Step 2".

If the item(s) is eligible for a return you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 1-3 business days VIA EMAIL.

** To RETURN an item without a registered account, you must first contact us (phone, chat or Email) to let us know that you wish to send an item back, providing the reason for the return.  Upon receipt of your inquiry, a Heart of Texas Armory manager will determine if the item(s) is eligible for a return. **   


Step 2
If your return request has been authorized, your Order Number will also be your Return Merchandise Authorization  (RMA).  Please provide at copy of your order packing slip and include it along with your returned item(s).  If you do not have your original packing slip, please make sure your provide a slip with your order number clearly written or printed on it.  

All items must be returned in the original packaging.

All items must be returned within 15 calendar days from the date when the RMA was approved/issued. 
** The RMA will expire and no longer be valid after those 15 calendar days. **



Step 3
Package the product neatly inside the original box and packaging, removing any old shipping labels and/or tags.  You may also provide your own return packaging.  Please make sure you adequately protect the returned items inside the return packaging.   

Purchase a new shipping label with the carrier of your choice (we recommend using USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Express or Ground, or UPS) ensuring to obtain a Tracking Number from the carrier.

Step 4
Once your item(s) is received, a Quality Assurance Manager will be in charge of inspecting the return ensuring all information provided on the RMA Form is valid. 

Once verified we will issue a refund, exchange or issue a Store Credit, depending on the return action you've previously selected. Refunds should be issued within 3-5 business days once returns have been properly verified and approved.

** If the received returns do not match the information provided on the RMA Form, a Quality Assurance Manager will contact you for further investigation.**  

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE  

Heart of Texas Armory will NOT cover any return shipping charges:
It is up to our customers to pay for their return labels. We recommend shipping the items back via FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, UPS, or USPS Priority.  Please forward the tracking number to us once it becomes available to you.

Please insure the return package for the FULL VALUE of the items:
Keep in mind that The Heart of Texas Armory will NOT be liable for any items lost or damaged in transit.  

Restocking Fee
Please note all returned items are subject to Restocking Fees.  If the returned items are in NEW condition, the restocking fee can be waived at HOTA's discretion.  Typical restocking fees are 5%-20% of the value of the item/s depending on condition of the returned item.  

Route Insurance
Route Insurance fees are non-refundable.   

ALL returned items must be an approved Return or include a HOTA RMA Form:
Heart of Texas Armory will NOT accept any returned item(s) that have not been approved or do not include an RMA Form inside the package.

Please do not harm or destroy the original packaging:
In order to receive a full refund, all returned items must be in pristine (new) condition, and that includes its packaging. All returned items must be shipped back in the original packaging along with any/all included accessories, manuals and paperwork. 

Heart of Texas Armory DOES NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY:
Please be aware that Heart of Texas Armory DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. However, Heart of Texas Armory DOES accept international credit card transactions that will ship to a legal U.S.A mailing address. Also, if an international order meets the criteria above, NO EXCHANGES and/or REFUNDS ARE ACCEPTED.

 

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Items are Eligible for a Return and Full Refund? 

  1. Most items are eligible for a full refund if they are returned within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  2. Items that are in New Condition and also you have the original box with all the included accessories and paperwork.


What Items are Not Eligible for a Return?

  1. Used apparel 
  2. Used face masks / neck gaiters
  3. Any other used clothing
  4. Used footwear. 
  5. Open Box Items

Footwear Return Policy?

All Footwear returns that are unworn and in their original condition and packaging can be returned within 7 days of the delivery date for a full refund (minus shipping). We suggest testing them out inside on carpet or a place where they will not be damaged or show any wear or tear. Try them out with a clean pair of socks. We cannot accept any signs of wear and tear (dirt, scuffs, smells, etc). 


What if my Item is not in New Condition or is Missing the Original Box, Accessories, Manual or Paperwork? 

  1. Items that are returned in this manner are still eligible for return, but will be subject to a restocking fee.  These fees are determined by Heart of Texas Armory's management on a case-by-case basis.  Typical restocking fees may vary from 10% up to 20% of the value of the product.

  2. If a restocking fee applies to your return, a Heart of Texas Armory Manager will contact you and notify you before accepting the return.


What if my Item is not Eligible for a Return through Heart of Texas Armory?

Most items that we sell at our web store do carry a warranty through the original manufacturer of the product. In fact, many of them offer lifetime warranties with their products. 

If you have an issue with your product beyond the 5 Calendar Day Return Window, please contact the original manufacturer.
